During the course of your studies two occurring costs arise. You need to pay tuition fees as well as a semester contribution.
The tuition fee depends on your study program. You can pay the tuition on a monthly basis as well as one or two semesters upfront, whatever suits you best. In case you pay your tuition on a monthly basis, please note that the 5th day of each month is the due date. The semester contribution on the other hand is the same for all students at one campus.
The semester contribution covers the costs for the AStA contribution and the Semester Ticket. This is something all students in Germany needs to pay. It needs to be paid before the start of a new semester. As the amount might change from semester to semester, Student Service will inform you regarding the amount to be paid in advance per email.
